TEACHER TRAINING

We provide teacher training in two parts

PART 1 - Teaching Assistant Training

​

Part 1 covers grades up to and including Gr 4 in your chosen genre.  It is suitable for dancers over the age of 14.​  Part 1 can be studied through 1-1 online classes at your own pace, or any TDSC registered teacher can deliver these classes. Part 1 will qualify you to assist in classes, or if over the age of 16 teach your own classes up to and including Gr 4.

PART 2 - Full Teacher Training

​

Part 2 covers IF to Advanced grades in your chosen genre.  It will qualify you to teach all TDSC grades. Ages 18+

Part 2 is taught via 1-1 online classes through only chosen TDSC examiners.

For both parts it is advisable to purchase a bronze or silver membership to help with the learning of syllabus in your own time.

1-1 training is charged at £55 / hr (or equivalent in other currencies), and can be taken as much or as little as needed for each individuals needs. A block of 10 hours can be bought for the reduced rate of £500 (a saving of £50)
